COMMON QUERIES FROM PROFESSIONAL SPEAKERS (NON-ACTORS)
-
Alongside my work with actors, I specialise in coaching creative, holistic or values-led professionals through private, group or event coaching.
I typically work with speakers for whom business is personal. They put their heart into what they do and are making a positive impact with inspiring work and purposeful content.
My style suits professionals who want to foster a personal, creative or holistic side to their work with leading voice and performance craft methods — rather than a more traditional ‘corporate presentation’ or 'media-trained' style.
CORE SERVICES
I specialise in scripted or structured delivery, live or recorded technique development and voice craft:
For project or content coaching, this may be verbatim delivery, with a touch of ad-lib or using a structured written outline with key talking points as the base. I coach and direct my clients' scripted or structured delivery, voice work, presence, storytelling and authentic performance craft for stage, camera or microphone.
For those seeking technique development and voice training between speaking engagements or projects, we work through professional voice, delivery and performance techniques — using a resonant piece of text connected to your work where relevant to build your craft, confidence and consistency.
For groups and organisations, I offer skills-based workshops spanning professional voice, embodied delivery and performance craft, as well as rehearsal and direction for events with scripted or structured content.
Coaching I’m drawn to includes:
Events & Recordings: Keynote speeches, podcasts, audiobooks, narration, meditation recordings, brand content, training videos, launches, optimistic YouTube, live events and group workshops.
Industries: Creativity and the arts, training and education, psychology and self-development, literature and publishing, women’s empowerment, wellness and holistic health, design and lifestyle, sustainable living, travel and culture, and other creative or values-led fields.
Content Style: Scripted or structured work that is purposeful, values-led, positively educational and creative or holistic in nature — content that aligns with my values as a coach.
Coaching requests that align with the FAQs will receive a response within 2 business days.

Coaching is most effective when there’s alignment between the coach and the client’s industry, style of work, content and goals. While I’m passionate about supporting a range of professionals, at times we’re simply not the right match or a request falls outside my services.
Some examples include:
Unscripted/Ad-Libbed Projects: My passion and expertise lie in coaching scripted or structured live or recorded work, whether verbatim, with a touch of ad-lib or using a structured written outline as the base. For private coaching, unscripted or primarily ad-libbed projects aren't my core focus — this is where text as a working tool is essential to how I coach. For groups and organisations, I offer skills-based workshops spanning professional voice, embodied delivery and performance craft, as well as rehearsal and direction for events with scripted or structured content.
Native Accent Modification: If your goal is modifying or reducing your native accent – or developing a new one – for your everyday voice use or work (eg. to sound Australian or British), this is a distinct field of speech work that I don't specialise in. A search of "accent reduction" will guide you to speech pathologists, ESL teachers or voice coaches who are experts in that specific area. My work focuses on craft-led coaching for specific projects or content and professional technique development between speaking engagements or projects. Voice training and articulation are addressed naturally within that work for aligned enquiries.
Mismatched Industries & Content: My expertise shines best with creative, holistic or values-led professionals and projects where authentic human expression, creativity and mindful impact sit at the heart. Industries and content that sit outside these values – including the themes or tone of the work – are generally not the right fit for my coaching. This includes projects whose subject matter doesn't align with the purposeful, creative or uplifting work I specialise in. You'll find a guide to the industries I typically work with in the FAQ above.

I’m based in Sydney, Australia and work with local and international professionals.
Private coaching is held on Zoom so no matter where you are, you can access my guidance and support.
For events and clients whose budgets allow, I also offer in-person VIP coaching at your venue, rehearsal space or recording studio.
For groups and organisations, I offer active, creative workshops to explore professional voice, delivery, storytelling and authentic performance skills in engaging, embodied ways.
Coaching is tailored to each client's unique goals, whether that's an immediate need or long-term vision.Skills coached include: Scripted or structured delivery, voice craft, storytelling, presence, authenticity, audience connection, stage and screen technique, microphone use, creative interpretation, impact, narration, warm-ups, handling stumbles, performance mindset and nervous system regulation.
Beyond vocal delivery and performance craft, my signature style integrates human psychology and wellbeing practices to help you fully embody your message. -
Yes, at times — though my methodology is grounded in working with text, and my expertise lies in text-based delivery for stage, camera and microphone.
For private coaching, I work with clients on scripted or structured projects — whether verbatim, with a touch of ad-lib, or using a structured written outline with key talking points as the base. For those seeking craft development or voice training between projects, we work through leading voice, delivery and performance techniques — using a resonant piece of text connected to your work where relevant to build your confidence and consistency. In both cases, text is the essential working tool.
For groups and organisations, I offer skills-based workshops spanning professional voice, embodied delivery and performance craft — some of which may not require scripted content, depending on the workshop focus.
If your project is primarily unscripted or ad-libbed, private coaching may not be the right fit. FAQ #2 has further detail on who I'm typically not a match for.

I’m happy to coach select professional speakers who need to perform an authentic dialect or character voice for a specific artistic work project. This includes authors performing voices in their audiobook or for their book launch, speakers voicing characters in their keynotes and other business projects requiring genuine dialect or character work.
Dialect coaching is detailed and technique-based, and suitability is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Mastery requires focused training, practice and, in some cases, multiple sessions.
The following accent coaching is outside my field:
Native Accent Modification: If your goal is modifying or reducing your native accent – or developing a new one – for your everyday voice use or work (eg. to sound Australian or British), this is a distinct field of speech work that I don't specialise in. A search of "accent reduction" will guide you to speech pathologists, ESL teachers or voice coaches who are experts in that specific area. My work focuses on craft-led coaching with text as a working tool — whether for a specific project or professional technique development. Voice training and articulation are addressed within that work.

To help me quickly assess whether we’re a strong match and provide a tailored response, please include the following key details in your enquiry:
Background: Please share a brief overview of yourself, your work and the professional industry you’re in. If you’re enquiring on behalf of someone else or an organisation, please clarify who the coaching is for and their role.
Needs: Is your enquiry for private coaching, group training or an event? What specific skills or areas would you like support with — whether for an upcoming project or for craft development between engagements — and what outcome are you hoping to achieve?
Projects & Subject: If you have a specific live or recorded project in mind, please share what it is, whether it's already scheduled or more open-ended, and the general subject matter and tone so I can assess alignment with my values-led approach. If you're seeking technique development rather than project coaching, a brief sense of your speaking work and goals is helpful instead.
Script & Structure: Will you be delivering a written script verbatim, with a touch of creative ad-lib, or working from a structured outline? If you're seeking technique development, what does your speaking work typically look like?
Timeline: What timeframes are you working with – an immediate or short-term need, a medium-term goal, a long-term vision or an open-ended plan?
All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
