- Ad-Libbed Projects: My passion and expertise lie in coaching scripted stage, screen and microphone work. This includes live events and audio/video recordings, whether verbatim or with a touch of ad-lib. Completely unscripted projects or primarily ad-libbed experiences are not my forte.
- Native Accent Reduction: If your goal is reducing or neutralising your own native accent for daily speech or career purposes, this is a distinct field of speech work that I don’t specialise in or offer. A Google search of "accent reduction" or "accent modification" will guide you to voice coaches or speech pathologists who specialise in this field.
- Mismatched Industries: My expertise shines best with clients in industries that align with my unique approach, interests and values. My clients primarily work in creative, visionary and holistic fields where core human and self-expression values sit at the heart. This means there are some industries I don't offer coaching to. do you coach entrepreneurs in dialects or character voices?
Yes, I'm happy to coach select entrepreneurs who need to perform an authentic dialect or character voice for a specific project. This includes, but is not limited to, audiobooks, poetry readings, docudramas and similar authentic dialect or characters needs.
The following accent coaching falls outside my services:
- Essential: entrepreneurs requesting this area must be fluent in English. Your native speaking accent needs to be a neutral one eg. Australian, New Zealand, British or North American. Dialect mastery takes detailed training, practice and at times multiple sessions. For this factor, I'm unable to offer dialect coaching to those with a stronger native dialect or where English is not the first language.
