Coaching is the most effective and successful when there’s a strong alignment between the coach and the client’s work and needs. While I’m passionate about helping a diverse range of entrepreneurs, there are times we’re simply not the right match or your request falls outside my services.
Some instances where I'm not the perfect fit:
- Primarily Ad-Libbed Content: My passion and expertise lie in coaching scripted stage, screen and microphone work. This includes live events and audio/video recordings, whether verbatim or with a touch of creative ad-lib. Primarily ad-libbed projects or presentations are not my forte.
- Native Accent Reduction: If your goal is reducing or neutralising your own native accent for daily speech or career purposes, this is a distinct field of speech work that I don’t specialise in or offer. A Google search of "accent reduction" or "accent modification" will guide you to voice coaches or speech pathologists who specialise in this field.
- Mismatched Industries: My coaching expertise shines best with clients in industries that align with my unique approach, interests and values. Head to the FAQ above titled “Who do you typically work with?” for a guide if you haven't had a chance to yet.

do you coach entrepreneurs in dialects or character voices?
I'm happy to coach select entrepreneurs who need to perform an authentic dialect or character voice for a specific project style. This includes, but is not limited to, authors for audiobook narration, writers for poetry readings or documentary narrators for featured characters.
The following accent coaching falls outside my services:

- Essential: entrepreneurs requesting this area must be fluent in English. For dialect coaching requests, your native speaking accent needs to be a neutral one eg. Australian, New Zealand, British or North American. Dialect mastery takes detailed training, practice, programming your mouth and hearing in new ways, and at times multiple sessions. For this factor, I'm unable to offer this dialect coaching to entrepreneurs with a stronger native dialect or where English is not the first language.

- Projects: What style of live or recorded projects do you want coaching for? Eg. live speech/events, screen/video recordings, audio recordings, Zoom/online delivery, etc.
- Timelines: What deadlines do you have for coaching or upcoming projects? Eg. an immediate need, short term deadline, medium term goal, long term project or an open-ended vision. Provide any relevant dates.
- Script: What stage is your scripted content at and what style is it? Eg. a finalised script or still in-development, written by you or another, verbatim delivery or a touch of ad-lib, modern or stylised text, any possibility of future edits etc.
