LANGUAGES COACHING

Showreel: Netball World Cup languages

In 2015, I worked as the Foreign Languages Coach (National Anthems) for the Netball World Cup Opening Ceremony at Sydney Olympic Park.

My position saw me coach Australian choir Vox in the correct sung-pronunciation of 7 non-English national anthems. These were sung/televised live internationally at the Opening Ceremony. I also supervised the recording studio session for correct pronunciation.

This reel showcases the anthems and recordings I coached for:
  • Malawi (Chichewa language), New Zealand (Maori), Samoa (Samoan), Singapore (Malay), South Africa (Xhosa, Zulu, Sesotho & Afrikaans), Sri Lanka (Sinhala) and Wales (Welsh).
