FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: * Who do you coach? Private coaching enquiries are accepted from professional actors & singers (over 18 years) preparing for an audition, callback or specific role in a production. If you fall outside of this group, I'd suggest calling or emailing NIDA for referrals to other voice/dialect coaches who cover your required field. * What areas do you coach to professionals? Private coaching has covered dialects from all over the world, acting, text work, Shakespeare, audition preparation, through to being the dramaturg on a singer's cabaret show. * What dialects have you coached? My work has seen me coach actors & singers to speak in over 25 dialects - Australian, British, American, European and Asian - as well as several foreign languages for their roles in productions. Simply fill in the Enquiry Form above and include a little about yourself (eg. training, experience, and your audition, callback or production details) * Where are you based? Face-to-face coaching is held in Sydney, Australia * Do you coach on weekends & public holidays? My office hours are generally Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm (excluding Public Holidays). This is variable when working on a production or teaching at drama schools. * Do you offer Skype coaching? Yes, Skype coaching is offered to professional actors & singers preparing an audition, callback or role in a production. This service is mainly for actors located or filming interstate & overseas. Skype coaching is dependent on schedule availability and any local or international time differences. * Do you offer weekly lessons? On-going weekly lessons in Voice are unavailable due to my commitments to productions, NIDA and coaching actors for their auditions & roles. |
